Using methods and models, 6^th Grain is piloting cost effective remote monitoring and digital tools to track ADFD’s infrastructure investments across the world.

The Abu Dhabi Fund forDevelopment provides concessional loans and manages government grants to implement sustainable infrastructure projects that drives socioeconomic development across Asia, South America,Africa and Arab countries. 6^th Grain is working with the fund to prototype methods that harness near real-time spaceborne observations to help ensure their investments are done in a timely, safe, and sustainable way.  The pilot will demonstrate the value of remote monitoring to improve transparency of projects as diverse as solar panels installations, airport construction, hospital renovations and highway resurfacing. We expect to move from the pilot to a full system to support ADFD by the end of 2024.
